  1. What if I have small children to bring to Sunday morning services?

    A:

We welcome young children to remain with their parents during worship. Each Sunday, our worship has a special time for the children or they are invited to attend Kid’s Own Church. It is during this time that they can truly learn the importance of our praise of God. We also have a well staffed nursery down the hall from the Sanctuary if there is a need to take a child to the nursery.

  2. What should I wear?

    A:

When people come to Calvary there is no dress code. You will see men dressed in boots and jeans and women in the same attire. You will also see men and women dressed to go to the symphony (coats and ties, nice dresses or slacks and tops). You will find youth in blue jeans or shorts and flip flops. Dress comfortably and enjoy being in the presence of God.

  3. What type of music do you sing during services?

    A:

Our music varies, but usually it is from the United Methodist Hymnal and sometimes we will incorporate praise music into our worship. Our worship style is blended. Every other month on the 4th Sunday, our worship is led by Redeemed, our praise band.

  4. Will I be asked to introduce myself or be singled out as a guest?

    A:

We want to welcome you warmly, but you will not have to stand and be recognized as a guest and we only ask that you share your name and address on our registration pad as it is passed to you. We do have a special gift for our first time guests and if you do not receive it, please let the pastor know.
