Current Project - Sound Booth Remodel

Marc Whitney will be getting some company! UMM - Calvary is working with

the trustees to get this done. The decision has been made

to move the multimedia computer system upstairs to the sound booth.

This requires two steps, one of which has already been completed.

In late February 2007,

a team removed the old stairs and replaced them with a safer set. The new stairs have

a more "reasonable" pitch and the step size is much deeper.

The second step, expanding the actual sound booth to accommodate

the added equipment and personnel needs, began in late April with the framing out of the new wall.

Next we will take out the old walls, put in the new ones, move the current door and AC duct work, and all of the other "finishing" details.

Ongoing Project - Methodist Camp Worship area

Currently, a team is working on plans to create a small cross and worship area

along the trail leading to the lake at the Methodist Camp.
